Stocktwits Poker Tournament
Here is your chance to beat Howard, Phil, or many other Stocktwits Pro’s in a friendly game of poker, while also having a shot at cash prizes and Stocktwits Schwag!
Stocktwits, in collaboration with Doyle Brunson’s Poker Network are hosting an online poker tournament for charity in support of the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance. The Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance is an organization dedicated to finding a cure for tuberous sclerosis while improving the lives of those affected. Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to form in many different organs, primarily in the brain, eyes, heart, kidneys, liver, skin and lungs. The tournament was organized by Joey Fundora of Downtowntrader.com and will be structured so that half of each players entrance fee will be donated to the TS Alliance as a charitable contribution.

The tournament will take place Sunday October 25, 2009 at 6:30EST. The tournament should be loads of fun as it offers a chance for members of the Stocktwits community to compete directly with each other and players can communicate via the Stocktwits stream throughout the tournament. The tournament will be No Limit Texas Holdem with a total buy in of $50. $25 will go towards the charity and $25 will go towards the prize pool. There will also be Stocktwits prizes awarded for knocking out certain players.
